Dr. Walker
Rural doctor and teacher
- 🇳🇿 Manukau, Auckland, New Zealand
- Manukau Health Center
- 1990 to 2018
- English
I practiced emergency medicine at Manukau Health Center from 1990 to 2018. I started with a stethoscope and a borrowed desk and ended up knowing most of the town.
Home visits were my favorite part, even when the roads weren't.
More about Dr. Walker
If I was your doctor, I hope you listened to my advice. Most of you didn't, and that's fine.
Specialties
What gifts mean to Dr. Walker: I'd use a gift for transport costs for patients who can't afford the trip.
