I practiced surgery at Valley View Regional Medical Center from 1982 to 2020. I started with a stethoscope and a borrowed desk and ended up knowing most of the town.
Home visits were my favorite part, even when the roads weren't.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
