Dr. Velasco
Professor of materials science, Brooklyn Polytechnic
- 🇺🇸 Brooklyn, New York, United States
- Brooklyn Polytechnic
- 1984 to 2000
- English, Spanish
I spent 16 years as a lecturer in materials science at Brooklyn Polytechnic in Brooklyn. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I watch every football match going.
What gifts mean to Dr. Velasco: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
