I've spent 13 years as a lecturer in architecture at London Institute of Technology in London. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I never raise my voice. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Dr. Vance: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
