Dr. Van der Merwe
Rural doctor and teacher
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Clinic
- Since 1983
- English, Afrikaans
I've practiced obstetrics at Johannesburg Clinic since 1983. I started with a stethoscope and a borrowed desk and ended up knowing most of the town.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. It makes appointments less scary.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Dr. Van der Merwe: A gift would go toward medical supplies for my Saturday clinic.
