Dr. Van der Merwe
Family doctor in Pretoria, Since 1993
- 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
- Pretoria Children's Hospital
- Since 1993
- English
I've practiced dermatology at Pretoria Children's Hospital since 1993. I started with a stethoscope and a borrowed desk and ended up knowing most of the town.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. It makes appointments less scary.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Dr. Van der Merwe: I'd use a gift for transport costs for patients who can't afford the trip.
