I've spent 15 years as a lecturer in astronomy at Pretoria College in Pretoria. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
What gifts mean to Dr. Tshabalala: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
