Dr. Tijani
Rural doctor and teacher
- 🇳🇬 Enugu, Enugu, Nigeria
- Baobab University Hospital
- 2017 to 2025
- English, Igbo
I practiced orthopedics at Baobab University Hospital from 2017 to 2025. I started with a stethoscope and a borrowed desk and ended up knowing most of the town.
I carry a notebook everywhere. It makes appointments less scary.

The families I got to know are the reason I stayed.
Specialties
What gifts mean to Dr. Tijani: I'd use a gift for transport costs for patients who can't afford the trip.
