I spent 23 years as a lecturer in statistics at Silverlake College in Nashik. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a shop assistant and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Dr. Thakkar
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Thakkar: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
