Dr. Teodora Mocanu
Rural doctor and teacher
- 🇷🇴 București, București, Romania
- Hillcrest Children's Hospital
- 1990 to 2024
- English, Romanian
I practiced surgery at Hillcrest Children's Hospital from 1990 to 2024. I started with a stethoscope and a borrowed desk and ended up knowing most of the town.
Home visits were my favorite part, even when the roads weren't.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Dr. Teodora Mocanu: I'd use a gift for transport costs for patients who can't afford the trip.
