I've spent 44 years as a lecturer in marine biology at Üsküdar Institute of Technology in Üsküdar. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I fix old bicycles.

If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
What gifts mean to Dr. Tekin: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
