Dr. Tavares
Retired materials science lecturer
- 🇧🇷 Santos, São Paulo, Brazil
- Santos Institute of Technology
- 1981 to 2006
- English, Portuguese
I taught materials science at Santos Institute of Technology from 1981 to 2006, and supervised 54 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a mechanic and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Dr. Tavares
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Tavares: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
