My subject is materials science, and for 32 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Irapuato State University.
Former students now work as a shop assistant and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Dr. Tapia: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
