I've spent 15 years as a lecturer in organic chemistry at Brooklyn Polytechnic in Brooklyn. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
