I've spent 39 years as a lecturer in astronomy at Peshawar Polytechnic in Peshawar. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I run most mornings.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Dr. Syed
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
