I've spent 25 years as a lecturer in computer science at Pune Institute of Technology in Pune. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a shop assistant and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
What gifts mean to Dr. Sundaram: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
