I've spent 41 years as a lecturer in organic chemistry at Los Angeles State University in Los Angeles. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I make terrible puns.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Dr. Singleton
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Singleton: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
