Dr. Silva
20 years teaching astronomy at Liverpool Polytechnic
- 🇬🇧 Liverpool, England, United Kingdom
- Liverpool Polytechnic
- 2018 to 2025
- English
I taught astronomy at Liverpool Polytechnic from 2018 to 2025, and supervised 21 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Dr. Silva
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.

What gifts mean to Dr. Silva: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
