Dr. Sheikh
Professor of civil engineering, Redwood University
- 🇧🇩 Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh

- 1982 to 1998

I spent 16 years as a lecturer in civil engineering at Redwood University in Gazipur. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Dr. Sheikh
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Sheikh: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
