Dr. Sawant
Rural doctor and teacher
- 🇮🇳 Rajkot, Gujarat, India
- St. Anne's Health Center
- Since 1994
- English, French
My work was orthopedics at St. Anne's Health Center, and for many of those years I also taught junior doctors.
Home visits were my favorite part, even when the roads weren't.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Dr. Sawant: I'd use a gift for transport costs for patients who can't afford the trip.
