Dr. Sawant
Rural doctor and teacher
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Since 1998
- English, Gujarati
I've practiced emergency medicine at Beacon Health Center since 1998. I started with a stethoscope and a borrowed desk and ended up knowing most of the town.
I believe in explaining things properly and then explaining them again. I walk the dog by the river.

What gifts mean to Dr. Sawant: I'd use a gift for transport costs for patients who can't afford the trip.
