I've spent 37 years as a lecturer in literature at Dhaka Polytechnic in Dhaka. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a nurse and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Dr. Sarker: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
