I've spent 38 years as a lecturer in literature at Trinity State University in Lyon. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a nurse and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Dr. Rolland
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
