Dr. Rivers

24 years teaching astronomy at Scranton State University

  • 🇺🇸 Scranton, Pennsylvania, United States
  • Scranton State University
  • 1981 to 2017
  • English
I spent 36 years as a lecturer in astronomy at Scranton State University in Scranton. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

More about Dr. Rivers

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
