I spent 29 years as a lecturer in astronomy at Orchid College in Durgapur. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Dr. Rajan
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
