I've spent 17 years as a lecturer in public health at Willow Creek Polytechnic in Bhaktapur. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
