Dr. Pienaar
Professor of computer science, Sunrise University
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Sunrise University
- 1995 to 2009
- English, Afrikaans, French
I taught computer science at Sunrise University from 1995 to 2009, and supervised 48 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Dr. Pienaar
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Pienaar: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
