Dr. Payne
Professor of literature, Nottingham University
- 🇬🇧 Nottingham, England, United Kingdom
- Nottingham University
- 2007 to 2015
- English
My subject is literature, and for eight years I got to share it with undergraduates at Nottingham University.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I walk the dog by the river.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Dr. Payne
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Dr. Payne: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
