I've spent 17 years as a lecturer in organic chemistry at Ashford College in Manchester. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.
More about Dr. Parks
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
