Dr. Palmer
Rural doctor and teacher
- 🇺🇸 Fresno, California, United States
- Heritage General Hospital
- 1988 to 2015
- English
I practiced emergency medicine at Heritage General Hospital from 1988 to 2015. I started with a stethoscope and a borrowed desk and ended up knowing most of the town.
Home visits were my favorite part, even when the roads weren't.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If I was your doctor, I hope you listened to my advice. Most of you didn't, and that's fine.

What gifts mean to Dr. Palmer: A gift would go toward medical supplies for my Saturday clinic.
