Dr. Ouma

13 years teaching modern history at Mbarara University

  • 🇺🇬 Mbarara, Western Region, Uganda
  • Mbarara University
  • Since 1993
  • English, Swahili
My subject is modern history, and for 33 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Mbarara University. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I watch every football match going. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Dr. Ouma

Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.

What gifts mean to Dr. Ouma: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
