I've spent 36 years as a lecturer in marine biology at Meadowbank State University in Iztapalapa. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a shop assistant and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Dr. Nava
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
