I spent ten years as a lecturer in modern history at Bamboo College in Oaxaca de Juárez. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Dr. Mendoza
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Mendoza: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
