I've spent 19 years as a lecturer in psychology at Lotus Polytechnic in Petrópolis. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Dr. Mendes
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
