I spent 14 years as a lecturer in sociology at Contagem Institute of Technology in Contagem. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I sing in a choir.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
