I taught organic chemistry at Andes Institute of Technology from 1983 to 2012, and supervised 47 dissertations along the way.
I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
