Dr. Maina

Professor of modern history, Mbale College

  • 🇺🇬 Mbale, Eastern Region, Uganda
  • Mbale College
  • 2017 to 2025
  • English, Swahili
I taught modern history at Mbale College from 2017 to 2025, and supervised 16 dissertations along the way. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.

More about Dr. Maina

Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
