I've spent 44 years as a lecturer in education at Maple Ridge Institute of Technology in Bacolod. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Dr. Lopez
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Dr. Lopez: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
