I've spent 30 years as a lecturer in organic chemistry at Jakarta Polytechnic in Jakarta. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I sing in a choir.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Dr. Lestari
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Lestari: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
