I've spent 37 years as a lecturer in literature at London Institute of Technology in London. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.
More about Dr. Lawrence
If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
What gifts mean to Dr. Lawrence: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
