Dr. Kimaro
Professor of anthropology, Beacon State University
- 🇰🇪 Likoni, Mombasa, Kenya
- Beacon State University
- Since 1978
- English, Swahili
I teach anthropology at Beacon State University since 1978, and supervised 40 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I run most mornings.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Dr. Kimaro
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Kimaro: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
