I spent twelve years as a lecturer in philosophy at Birmingham College in Birmingham. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
