Dr. Karakaya
Professor of literature, Istanbul Institute of Technology
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Istanbul Institute of Technology
- 2008 to 2020
- English, Turkish
My subject is literature, and for twelve years I got to share it with undergraduates at Istanbul Institute of Technology.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I make terrible puns.
More about Dr. Karakaya
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Karakaya: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
