Professor of astronomy, Northside State University
- 🇵🇰 Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan

I've spent 37 years as a lecturer in astronomy at Northside State University in Faisalabad. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a mechanic and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Dr. Kakar
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Kakar: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
