I've spent 34 years as a lecturer in agriculture at Incheon Polytechnic in Incheon. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Dr. Joo: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
