Dr. Joo
Rural doctor and teacher
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
- San Jose University Hospital
- 2006 to 2025
- English, Korean
I practiced emergency medicine at San Jose University Hospital from 2006 to 2025. I started with a stethoscope and a borrowed desk and ended up knowing most of the town.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. It makes appointments less scary.

What gifts mean to Dr. Joo: A gift would go toward medical supplies for my Saturday clinic.
