Dr. Jemal
Civil engineering lecturer, Since 1988
- 🇪🇹 Adama, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Beacon Polytechnic
- Since 1988
- English, Amharic
My subject is civil engineering, and for 38 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Beacon Polytechnic.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.
More about Dr. Jemal
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Dr. Jemal: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
