Dr. James
Professor of astronomy, Birmingham University
- 🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
- Birmingham University
- 1984 to 1996
- English
I taught astronomy at Birmingham University from 1984 to 1996, and supervised 13 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a bus driver and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Dr. James
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. James: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
