I've spent 47 years as a lecturer in materials science at Birmingham State University in Birmingham. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I never raise my voice. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
What gifts mean to Dr. Jacobs: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
