I've spent 14 years as a lecturer in literature at Unity State University in Giza. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a mechanic and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Dr. Ismail
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
